Super7 has arranged a talk by Simon Yates at the EICA:Ratho. Best known as a result of his epic rescue of Joe Simpson, after their first ascent of the West Face of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes described in the award winning book and film ‘Touching the Void’

Over the last 25 years Simon has climed extensively around the world, concentrating on exploratory mountaineering. He has made many first ascents in the Himalayas and Andes and he’ll bring his tales to EICA: Ratho on Wednesday 15th October 2008. Start: 19.30
